How Can I Help?
There are many ways to participate with the Consultation.  The Public is welcome to attend a meeting to learn about our activities.  We try to divide each meeting into a time of interfaith dialogue as well as attending to our regular business needs.  The Consultation is actively involved with a number of human services and community programs.  We approach our work from our faiths' common callings to serve our neighbors.
The Consultation provides several Distributions throughout the calendar year.  These events involve colletion of items and supplies through our member congregations and the greater community.  Each distribution covers a three day period, beginning with collection of supplies at the distribution site on Thursday, organization and setup on Friday morning, with the actual distribution on Saturday morning.  Volunteers are appreciated for each event.
Throughout the year, the Consultation presents special services and events for the community.  The Martin Luther King worship service is presented in January as a time commemorating his work and for raising funds for a minority scholarship fund, to provide support for students who would otherwise not be able to finance a college education.
The public is also encouraged to attend special events and speakers sponsored by the Consultation.
